my son is now 6 , he has cerebellar hypoplasia and a large cisterna magna found through mri scans he is also hypotonic and has global development delay , very delayed speech and delays especially in fine and gross motor skills . he is still in full time nappies too . he was very late to start walking ( 3 yrs old ) . and is still only linking 2 sometimes 3 words together not always clear . he was very late with all his important milestones as a baby and toddler , he did not sit unaided until he was about 1 and a half  or crawl until well past 2 yrs old . at the age of about 1 i finally managed to wean him onto pureed food , he still constantly dribbles now . he does not have a ” diagnosis ” as of yet but i am convincing myself he may have dandy walker , he is also quite small for his age and has to wear strong prescription glasses . if anyone out there can give me anymore advice or put me in any other direction that would be great .
